Stephen Jenkinson - The Nature of Being Human

An inter-generational dialogue with Stephen Jenkinson

Do you worry about what the future holds for your children/grandchildren?
Do you struggle to put your grief and heartbreak into action?

Many people all over the world are unconsciously mourning the devastating impact we are having on the planet and our climate. Without acknowledging our grief and allowing ourselves to speak about and mourn what is happening we will not be able to move forward. The transformative nature of grief is a powerful agent for change.

Please join us for an engaging and inspiring conversation with Stephen Jenkinson, facilitated by Margery Moore of Hollyhock and the film Wakan Tanka, accompanied by Amy Huva, with Climate Access. This dialogue is for anyone with a desire to be useful to those now inheriting an endangered world.

Stephen Jenkinson, MTS, MSW, is a spiritual activist, author, farmer and founder and principle instructor of The Orphan Wisdom School. He holds Masters Degrees from Harvard University and the University of Toronto. He is the subject of the NFB documentary film ‘Griefwalker’. His principal work has been to forge an authentic language of grief for this grief illiterate time.
