Thank you to everyone who helped raise $749.70 for RAVEN Trust and their work raising legal defence funds to assist Indigenous Peoples who enforce their rights and title to protect their traditional territories.
RAVEN Trust, through their public education programs, collaborates with Indigenous Peoples to eliminate environmental racism and foster a greater understanding of indigenous rights and governance. They are a registered charity in Canada and a 501(c) tax exempt organization in the United States.
100% of the funds raised from the discounted sale of Stephen Jenkinson’s ‘Come of Age – Reading & Reportage Public Talk’ over the month of October went toward the donation to RAVEN Trust.
The funds are now on their way to RAVEN Trust for use in their work.
