WINTER HOUSE KEEPING

These cold, clear, dark days have inspired a bit of Winter house keeping. Many of you will have received a newsletter, sent out back in April of this year introducing me, Khadija as a new member of the Orphan Wisdom team.

The correspondence and the conversations with you all have been a real pleasure for me.  The title of Orphan Wisdom Manager requires me to wear many hats: email wrangler, event planner, schedule wizard, breakfast chef, massage therapist, photographer, detail tracker and whatever else might arise on any normal given day.

If you were one of the good people who attended A Handful of Endings, you might recall Stephen joking on the last day that I might quit after that gig.  The opposite seems to have happened. Not that I’ve figured out all the intricacies but I have indeed settled in and I invite you to reach out with any wondering, ideas, requests for interviews, and all other Orphan Wisdom inquiries : khadija@orphanwisdom.com

I have a few requests of you:

+This is a call out for any recordings, podcasts, photos you may have of Stephen Jenkinson. Even if you have shared the link, recording, or image with Orphan Wisdom previously, would you please send them my way, anyway.

+If you wish to request an interview, meeting, counsel call, or the like with Stephen Jenkinson, please write me. Of course, if you have a personal message, you are welcome to write to Stephen (and Nathalie) directly but I am on board for everything else that matters, including passing along kind words and testimonials.

+There are a few positions open on the Orphan Wisdom Team. Even if this isn’t a position for you, maybe you know someone that would be a fine fit. Please do drop me a line:​​​​​

1. Social Media Person Extraordinaire: OW has two Social Media Accounts that need regular posting, updating, and communications with me. This is an ongoing part time position.
2. Graphic Designer: OW has an ongoing need for banner and landing pages to be used on the OW Newsletters, Website and Socials.
3. Website Developer: It is time for updating and redesigning.

Lastly, a request to all who attended the Orphan Wisdom School, I’d like to hear form you. Which class did you attend, where, do you remember the books or the special guests they brought in.. all those details are mostly in Nathalieʻs head, Bless her. Rather then ask her to spend what I imagine could easily become a month long project trying to make those list and track down all the emails, would you be willing to fill out a short Google form that I might gather these important details in one place?
