He’s not done yet … 2025

Nathalie’s dream is coming true.

We’re creating a Scriptorium around Stephen Jenkinson’s collected work. The Boreal Sessions will be in-person scriptorium labour. We are hard at it, creating an online Library and Colloquium and, in good time, we may be able to offer a collection of hand-crafted books based on decades of Stephen’s talks, including Orphan Wisdom School sessions.

This is such a grand endeavour, and there is so much to weave you into. Next week we will send along a newsletter detailing The Scriptorium.

p.s. Registration for the first two Boreal Sessions (April/ May) opens next week.
p.p.s. Nathalie Roy is Stephen Jenkinson’s wife and co-founder of the Orphan Wisdom School.

Orphan Wisdom School Alumni Ian MacKenzie and John Wolfstone are convening ‘Fugitive Futures’, a 5-day Rite-of-Passage Style Journey.

They’ve extended the invitation to include Stephen Jenkinson.
He’ll be speaking on January 30th.

Stephen Jenkinson & Kimberly Ann Johnson invite you
to a one of a kind 2-day gathering on March 7 & 8th

They will explore grief, dying, and the great love of life.

“For most village people, for many centuries or most, the desert was a place you went to for extremes, when your life was calling out for some kind of edge by which it might find its centre. The desert was a place of drastic clarity, where illusions were lost, chimeras found, dust devils dancing on the horizon.

Why, a quarter of the way into things, should this century be different? Why should we?

Some reckoning in the desert, before the year’s habits take hold for good: that sounds like a plan.”  Stephen Jenkinson

Sanity and Soul: Die Wise, Ten Years On
A Livestream Encounter

March 15 & 16  Here’s what’s in the works: Stephen has invited a couple of luminary allies to join him on-camera. He has mobilized the Orphan Wisdom ensemble to grind out the details, and soon we’ll be inviting you to join us in bearing witness to Sanity and Soul: Die Wise, Ten Years On, a live stream encounter with a life’s work.

“We’ll take a good long look at what I’ve been entrusted with, and what it might stand for now.”  Stephen Jenkinson.

Registration Opens Feb 4th
