I always thought that if I just got a bit of a hearing in the States, the Americans would somehow find the thread. And while I’ve been fortunate in so many places in this world to have my work considered – it’s a beautiful list – the Americans have given me the benefit of the doubt, often.
So I’m happy to report that I’ll be in Santa Fe, N.M. Oct. 1/2 to bring my best and join with Kimberly Johnson to present Sifting Shards in the Bonehouse. It will be a series of sessions fuelled by the new book Trembling Still, and by my intense time together with Kimberly during the crafting of that book.
A beautiful partnership. This will be a true one-off collaboration.
And – a real bonus for me – the Nights of Grief and Mystery tour, presenting the new record Caldera, has been rejigged to now include a show in Santa Fe on Oct. 2. This show is part of the Sifting Shards programme, available to those participating in those sessions.
