Vows vs. Promises: Matrimony in the Age of Broken Rituals with Stephen Jenkinson

INTERVIEW

Interview Published on August 21, 2025

Stephen was recently interviewed by Word Up podcast host, Dani Katz. This is what she wrote about the interview:

Forget the cake and confetti — Stephen Jenkinson and I are dismantling the wedding industrial complex and dragging matrimony back into the realm of the sacred, the drastic, and the culturally necessary. This is about vows that cost you something, ceremonies with teeth, and love that serves more than just the couple.

It was a real-deal pleasure to get to drop in with Stephen again. I loved our chat, and am receiving sooooo much enthusiastic feedback from the audience who feel the same.
